Research Interest:

The work in our group involves extensive synthetic work followed by studies using kinetic, photophysical, and physical-organic methods on the synthesized molecules.  We work on several areas including

  • Photonic materials
  • DNA intercalators
  • Biomimetic chemistry
  • Sensing of ions and molecules
