Research Interest:

Exploring the mechanism and biological functions of epigenetic ‘readers’ and ‘erasers’ by using genetically encoded unnatural amino acids. My research takes a multidisciplinary approach that involve protein engineering, biochemistry, molecular biology, proteomics, mammalian tissue culture system, homology modelling, docking and molecular dynamics simulations to interrogate cellular machineries towards molecular understanding of epigenetic mechanisms in human health and disease.
