Message form the Dean of Students

Welcome to the Office of the Dean of Students! It is my great pleasure to serve as the Dean of Students of IISER Kolkata. My office is committed to help the students in every possible way throughout their tenure and to stay connected with them even after they move away from our campus. The Office of the Dean of Students is responsible for welfare of the students and in providing them with an enjoyable life at IISER Kolkata campus.
Our mission is to engage the student community in various activities of the institute, encourage them to explore different aspects of life beyond the class rooms through co-curricular activities and create a vibrant atmosphere for their intellectual and personal growth.

The Office of the Dean of Students will act as a liaison between the students, faculty members and the institute administration to facilitate smooth functioning of all student related activities at IISER Kolkata. This office will serve as the central point of contact for students to resolve problems, acquaint them with campus resources and clarify their doubts regarding policy matters. Through its alumni cell this office will reach out to our alumni all over the world and strengthen ties with them.
